I love looking at these pictures because they remind me of the summer and when the air isn't frigid cold. Blooming flowers, seashells, and old classic books.

Lake of the Isles, Lake Calhoun, Minnesota
These are some of the photos I took when my dad and I took a trip to an area in Uptown of Minneapolis!
It's the day after Christmas 2010 and yesterday I received my first digital SLR camera from my parents (consequently I have been taking many pictures!). I recently changed my major at school to pursue a Photography degree which is why this is such a big deal! While I was looking around my house, I noticed my mom had many cool items that I could take pictures of! I love taking pictures like the one above as well as landscape and nature photos. My inspiration for the photo above came from the Somerset Studio magazines! There will definitely be more to come, but meanwhile I hope you enjoy :)
